Porsche’s range-topping 911 Turbo S has been revealed in both Coupé and Cabriolet body styles, the 992 series model maintains the turbocharged 3.8-litre flat-six engine. As well as more power, the new Turbo S is wider, with Its width increased by 20mm to 1900mm to adapt a track that is now 42mm wider at the front and 10mm wider at the rear. This performance increase led Porsche to develop a new generation of ceramic composite brakes. Fitted to the 911 Turbo S as standard, 10-piston callipers at the front for even greater stopping power. Aero changes comprise of a pneumatically extendible front spoiler and larger surface area for the rear wing in which Porsche claims delivers up to 15% more downforce than the model it replaces.
